Windows 10 End of Life: Time to Upgrade
From 14 October 2025, Microsoft will officially end support for Windows 10. That means no more security updates, bug fixes, or technical support. Even if your computer is still working fine, running Windows 10 after this date will leave it vulnerable to security risks, malware, and compatibility issues.
If you’re still on Windows 10, play it safe:
Don’t keep using unsupported systems for business or personal work
Don’t ignore update reminders
Check which of your machines are eligible for Windows 11
This is part of Microsoft’s wider effort to move users to more secure and modern systems. Windows 11 offers improved performance, stronger security, and ongoing support — helping both individuals and businesses stay protected.
Looking ahead, the risks of staying on Windows 10 will only increase. Without updates, attackers will quickly exploit unpatched vulnerabilities. For organisations, that means potential data breaches, compliance issues, and costly downtime.
If you run a business or organisation, now’s the time to act. Contact GDK to get all your eligible machines upgraded to Windows 11. We’ll assess your systems, handle the upgrade process, and make sure your team transitions smoothly.
Just to clarify: if some of your hardware isn’t compatible with Windows 11, we can help you plan alternatives — whether that’s new devices, extended support options, or other solutions.
These changes are designed to keep you safe, secure, and future-ready. Let’s stay ahead of the risks.
